I love my Arktisblau Sixer. I thought, too, that I would love other Sixers regardless of modification status or condition. But today I may have proven myself wrong, as my friend and I traded our "project" W124 Wagon (put simply, the best and most practical car ever made) for a Shark just one year older than mine (and with 60-100k or so fewer miles). It's also lowered - slammed - on cut springs and blown stock struts. It's hard to drive - it darts alover the place, and has shot strut mounts that cause the steerinto click and hold to the left or right sides. It also has surface rust just about everywhere, and has a primed rear deck lid and driver's quarter, as well as some other spots. It needs a full or at least extensive respray (Nick, I know you're reading this, so yes, we'll see, but I still think it does). The suspension is brutally worn, as are the tires. It's deafeningly loud. - straight piped through glass packs - and needs resonators badly. The interior is partially disassembled. But it's a project, it's largely rust free underneath, it's solid mechanically, and it's crazy. This is going to be interesting.

Well I love it. Looks like she's got sport seats too - man I'd love to trade my comforts for a decent pair of sports. And Arktisblau 6ers are quite possibly the greatest color/car combo ever.
Whereabouts are you located?

The white car has comforts, but my main one is Arktisblau/beige with sports, and they are the most comfortable, natural seats ever. I can sit in them for days and be comfortable.
I'm in southern VT. Not ideal Sixer territory, but it's a great place.

Ah. Yeah, taking another look at my comforts, they're the same (though my interior is beige). For some reason I thought my comforts looked different.
And I was really hoping you were in the Phoenix area. I'm always looking for E24 parts.

Yeah, I was surprised to find that the comfort seats are actually curved (I'd never really spent much time around them as my blue car and the M6s I've been in have had the sports). They're not bad , but the sports are better.
Ah. Well, it's probably easier to maintain something out there at least. And so am I haha - and this addition doesn't make the search any easier.
